This policy explains what information Level Home Inspections LLC collects when you book or receive an inspection, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and mailing address.
- Property details: the address being inspected and facts about the home, some of which we look up from public county records to prepare for the inspection.
- Agent and lender details you choose to give us.
- Payment details: card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages: emails, texts and voicemails you send us, and our replies.
- Your inspection report and the photos taken during the inspection.
How we use it
We use your information to schedule and perform your inspection, send your agreement, invoice and report, remind you about your appointment, answer your questions, and keep the records the law and our insurance require. We do not sell your information.
Who we share it with
- Your agent: we send your report to your real estate agent only when you ask us to.
- Service providers that help us run the business: payment processing (Stripe), email, calendar and maps (Google), report writing (ScribeWare), phone and text messaging (Twilio), and website hosting. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
- When the law requires it, such as a court order or subpoena.
Text messages
If you agree to receive texts from us, we use your mobile number only to send messages about your inspection: confirmations, reminders, arrival updates, report notices and replies to your questions. See our Text Message Terms for details.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to any third party. Our messaging provider handles your number only to deliver our texts.
Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help.
How long we keep it
We keep inspection records, including reports and agreements, for as long as we may need them to answer questions about the inspection or meet legal and insurance requirements.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete what we are not required to keep. Email info@levelinspect.com and we will reply within a few business days.
Cookies
Our booking pages use a small cookie to keep your session working while you fill in the form. We do not use advertising cookies.
Our website counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and does not follow you to other sites. We see totals, such as how many people viewed a page, never who you are.
Children
Our services are for adults buying, selling or maintaining a home. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
